Connections Health Solutions in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) to ensure the safety of individuals and staff, take vitals, and support patients on the unit. You will document services in the Electronic Health Record and coordinate with the RN/Physician on care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in behavioral health or social services preferred.
• Must be able to perform Safe Clinch restraining techniques.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safety of individuals and staff on the unit and document services in the EHR.
• Take vitals and assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Educate patients on rights and regulations, and assist with de-escalation when needed.
• Attend court hearings when subpoenaed and provide testimony as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and assist with routine duties.
