Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in behavioral health or related field.
• Ability to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.
• Vaccination policy requires full vaccination or approved exemption before start.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety of individuals and staff; document in the EHR.
• Take vitals and assist individuals in meeting needs on the unit.
• Conduct security screening and orient new admissions.
• Intervene with escalated individuals using de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transportation as needed.
• Attend court-ordered hearings when subpoenaed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and assigned unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
