Job summary

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement seeks a Criminal Justice Information Consultant I to assist with administration and resolution of operational problems for the Applicant Services Unit. You will base recommendations on systems analysis and monitor databases for operational status.

You will conduct research on criminal justice laws and regulations and maintain the security and integrity of departmental data; NCIC/FCIC certification is required and must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of office procedures and law enforcement data systems
• Ability to record, collect, evaluate, and analyze data
• Ability to read and interpret state statutes and federal laws
• Ability to operate personal computers and office equipment
• NCIC/FCIC certification required and must be maintained
