Qualifications

  • Experience in criminal intelligence or related fields.
  • Analytical experience in criminal intelligence or investigative contexts within law enforcement.
  • Bachelor's degree can substitute for four years of experience.
  • Master’s degree or professional certification can substitute for one year of experience.
  • Completion of a 720-hour program can substitute for one year of experience.
  • There may be any combination of education or experience as described.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare analytical reports, summaries, assessments, and conclusions for investigations or intelligence.
  • Present analytical findings via charts, graphs, and briefs; test hypotheses.
  • Support investigations by researching complex entities involved in criminal activity.
  • Review and analyze current intelligence data and crime trends relevant to the center.
  • Testify before grand juries and trials when required.
  • Apply privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties considerations to intelligence products.
