Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Statistics, Data Analytics, Public Administration, or a related major
• At least five years of experience as a Crime Analyst
• Mastery of Microsoft Office, including Power BI, Excel, and Access
• IACA and DCI/NCIC certification or ability to obtain within 6 months if hired

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and evaluate the work of crime analysts in real-time operations and strategic analysis.
• Oversee RTIC daily operations, ensuring continuous intelligence support to patrol investigations and CAD/RMS integration.
• Ensure daily coverage for real-time intelligence and data support to patrol, investigations, and command staff.
• Serve as primary liaison between RTIC and sworn supervisors in Patrol and Criminal Investigations.
• Maintain readiness for major incidents and EOC activations; refine real-time workflows and escalation procedures.
• Direct production and quality of analytical products: bulletins, trend reports, hotspot maps, and investigative materials.
• Oversee data integrity across RMS, CAD, ALPR, and analytics tools; ensure privacy and CJIS compliance.
• Identify emerging crime trends and provide data-driven deployment recommendations.
• Coordinate intelligence sharing with regional RTICs, fusion centers, and federal partners.
• Track performance metrics and prepare reports for command staff and town leadership.
