Job summary

The Osceola County Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller is seeking a Criminal Assistant Manager to support the Criminal Division Manager, manage daily operations, prioritize workflow, and ensure team efficiency. Leadership conversations and coaching remain with the Criminal Division Manager.

Responsibilities include overseeing emails, reports, training coordination, delegation, and maintaining procedures. Requires strong organization, discretion, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business/public administration or related field.
• Minimum two years administrative or operational coordination experience.
• Paralegal or legal office admin background considered in lieu of experience.
• Must have valid Florida driver’s license and meet testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and route department emails and categorize by urgency.
• Oversee prep and distribution of department reports.
• Coordinate training sessions and departmental meetings.
• Delegate daily tasks and track progress to meet deadlines.
• Serve as primary operations contact in manager’s absence.
• Develop and maintain departmental procedures and manuals.
• Handle sensitive matters with sound judgment and discretion.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
