Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum four (4) years in inmate records, probation, pretrial release, or community corrections, with at least two years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of staff and day-to-day operations; prioritize and review work to meet department goals.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures; coordinate programs with other service providers.
• Assist with hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development; conduct caseload audits and address deficiencies.
• Oversee case management activities including offender needs assessment, treatment referrals, and court recommendations.
• Monitor budgets and compile statistical information for department use.
• Serve as liaison with judiciary, courts, and allied criminal justice agencies; participate in court sessions as needed.
