Job summary

Lindentx seeks a Crime Data Analyst to research and analyze complex data and provide actionable intelligence for crime prevention in Rockwall. You will use socio-demographic, spatial, and temporal factors to predict and prevent crime, disseminating findings to department directors and staff.

Responsibilities include generating reports, GIS mapping, and supporting database and software systems while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preference in criminal justice or related fields.
• Three+ years in data analysis, trend analysis, or statistics; experience producing reports.
• Must possess valid Texas Driver's License.
• Must possess or be able to obtain NCIC/TCIC certification.
• CJIS-related disqualifications apply (felonies etc.).
• Equivalency considered betweenexperience and education.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze crime data using socio-demographic, spatial, and temporal factors.
• Produce crime statistics and GIS maps for multiple departments.
• Disseminate intelligence to command staff and other agencies as needed.
• Develop reports and presentations on crime trends and forecasts.
• Support training and maintenance of departmental software and data systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of intelligence files and data integrity.
