Job summary

Huey Maggoo's is seeking a Customer Service team member to help create a pleasant dining experience for guests by providing quick and friendly service and keeping a clean, orderly workstation.

The role includes cashier/food runner responsibilities, guest connection, menu knowledge, cash handling, and maintaining high food quality and presentation. The team member will interact with guests both in the restaurant and over the phone, with a focus on hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper image through appearance and professional conduct, serving as the face of the restaurant.
• Cash accountability by ensuring all cash and credit cards are collected and secured properly.
• Develop thorough knowledge of menu items, prices, sales techniques, and ordering procedures.
• Ensure all food items are prepared accurately and of high quality, with attention to presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the condiment area, drink station, and takeout counter; complete server duties as assigned.

Description: As a member of the Huey Maggoo's restaurant operating team, our staff is responsible for creating a pleasant dining experience to all Guests by providing quick and friendly service, as well as maintaining a clean and orderly work station.

Cashier/Food Runner:

• Huey Maggoo's Hospitality - Create an emotional bond with the guest by making a connection with them. Recognize opportunities to exceed a guest’s expectations, regardless of the circumstance. Display an energetic and caring attitude just as you would for a guest in your own home. They will remember this and it will lead to repeat visits. This type of interaction with the guest applies in the restaurant or on the phone.

• Proper Image - Maintain a proper image through personal appearance, professional conduct, and in your area of responsibility by adhering to all of Huey Maggoo's policies and procedures. Most importantly, you are the face of our restaurant as you interact with our guests.

• Cash Accountability (front of house staff) - Ensure all cash and credit cards are collected and secure in the prescribed procedures.

• Menu - Have a thorough knowledge of all menu items, prices, sales techniques, and ordering procedures.

• Food Quality - Ensure all food items are prepared accurately and of high quality. Maintain standards for appearance and presentation according to system standards.

• Work Area & Cleanliness - Maintain appearance and stock of the condiment area, drink station, and takeout counter. Complete all assigned Server side work duties
