Job summary

Cheba Hut is seeking a Crew Member in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment in San Antonio, TX. You will craft great food, deliver authentic interactions, and support smooth operations across shifts.

Responsibilities include assisting guests, making menu recommendations, and processing cash and POS transactions with accuracy. Prior experience is welcomed but not required, and a certification in food handling is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, food service, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Food handling certification is required (we’ll help you certify)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable lifting up to 47 lbs

As a Crew Member, you’ll craft great food, create positive interactions, and support strong Shoperations every shift.

What You’ll Own:

• Clean as you go — never leave a mess behindPerform opening, closing, and shift duties consistently
• Maintain clean front-of-house and back-of-house areas
• Follow all employee health and safety policies

What Makes You a Fit:

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Food handling certification required (no worries if you don’t have one- we’ll help you certify)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
