Job summary

Lewis Services, a 100% employee-owned company, seeks a Crew Leader to supervise utility vegetation management crews and ensure safe, efficient tree trimming and line clearance for customers in North America. The role emphasizes training, coaching, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include task planning, performance monitoring, field training, and strong communication with property owners and utility reps.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a tree crew or utility vegetation management.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and pruning across ANSI Z133 and A300.
• Certified or capable of certification in crew leader skills and CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily tree crew operations and ensure safe, efficient work practices.
• Plan tasks based on crew skills and project requirements.
• Monitor crew performance, provide training and coaching as needed.
• Maintain crew records and report incidents or equipment issues.
• Communicate with customers and utilities to coordinate work safely.
