Job summary

signaturelandscape is hiring a dependable Crew Leader to oversee a 2–3 person crew for high-quality commercial landscape maintenance. This is a year-round role with seasonal snow support in winter months.

You will lead on-site tasks, ensure safety and quality, and handle daily paperwork while supporting onboarding and training of new crew members. Snow duties are included in winter.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience.
• Experience leading a crew or supervising team members is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate a team.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied weather conditions.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a crew of 2–3 team members on job sites.
• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanup tasks; ensure quality and timeliness.
• Operate landscape equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Oversee safety compliance, daily paperwork, and equipment checks.
• Report crew hours, track materials, and manage overtime where applicable.
• Train new crew members and support onboarding processes.
• Assist with snow removal during winter months.

• Operate trucks, mowers, trimmers, and other landscape tools
• Ensure job quality, safety compliance, and timely completion
• Report crew hours, complete daily paperwork, and track materials
• Train new crew members and support field onboarding
• Assist with snow removal during winter season

What You Bring

• 2+ years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
• Prior crew lead or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety
