Job summary

Outdoor Living Southeast is seeking a skilled Landscape Crew Leader to guide a small crew and manage a weekly service route across our properties. You will perform lawn maintenance and ensure work is completed to our high standards, while leading the team and maintaining equipment and trucks.

You will train crew members on proper techniques, safety, and efficiency, and communicate professionally with customers. A valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors in all weather are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in lawn maintenance is required.
• Previous leadership or crew lead experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of lawn equipment and maintenance practices.
• Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of 2-3 team members.
• Train and mentor team members on proper techniques, safety, and efficiency.
• Run and complete a weekly service route on schedule.
• Perform lawn maintenance services including mowing, edging, weed eating, blowing, trimming, and general property upkeep.
• Operate and maintain equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.).
• Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards.
• Maintain clean, organized trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Ensure team members follow uniform and safety (PPE) requirements.
• Communicate with customers professionally and address any concerns.
• Utilize company software to manage jobs and routes.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40-50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, humidity)
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
