This is a full-time position responsible for managing field operations and daily crew/labor activities. The Crew Leader oversees property maintenance, maintains accurate records, submits daily paperwork, and manages cost accounting of daily labor. The role requires meeting hours requirements and handling complex jobs, specialty equipment, and demanding clients. The position demands teamwork and aims to deliver quality landscape services that meet or exceed client and organizational expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage crew performance and training of laborers.
2. Supervise up to 6 employees and follow supervisor instructions.
3. Possess hands-on knowledge of assigned work, including operating mowers, trimmers, and applying chemicals.
4. Maintain company equipment and ensure safety standards.
5. Ensure quality service delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Punctual, responsible, and positive attitude.
• Self-driven, reliable, and professional in customer interactions.
• Ability to read and understand safety and operation manuals.
• Experience in commercial landscaping or maintenance.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Creative problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License with acceptable record.
• Experience with trucks, trailers, and landscape equipment.
• Ability to obtain LICT certification within the first year.
• Technical skills with smartphones and computers.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs. (seek help over 50 lbs.).
• Outdoor work with exposure to weather conditions.
• Require stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and use of hand tools/machinery.
• Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, especially in city parks.
