Job Summary

The General Tree Care Team are the muscle of our operation. These industrial athletes work together to provide high-quality tree care, helping to maintain and preserve the overall health of our clients' landscapes.

This position pays up to $25-30/hr depending on years of experience, plus paid PTO, benefits, and 401K.

Position Details

The Crew Lead is a specialized role for individuals demonstrating leadership qualities, approved by local management, to guide a work crew. Key knowledge includes TCIA Crew Leader Training, crew safety, personal safety, hazard recognition, and ability to check off levels.

The team works outdoors, visiting beautiful properties, applying expertise in climbing, pruning, and safety to maintain landscape health.

Responsibilities

• Perform pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care tasks.
• Operate equipment safely and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices for large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify tree and shrub species and understand their characteristics.
• Climbing skills without spurs.
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts and chainsaw operation.
• Ability to use ropes, saddles, ladders, and perform aerial rescue if needed.

Essential Attributes

• Desire to work outdoors.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; CDL a plus.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
