Qualifications

• Experience leading field crews in outdoor work.
• Ability to train crew members and monitor progress.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (Cal-OSHA).
• Willingness to operate County vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a work crew to clear sites of grass, weeds, and debris.
• Provide on-the-job training and assess trainee progress.
• Coordinate clearing work by vendors and monitor performance.
• Promote safety practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Inspect properties and assess hazards and scope.
• Estimate costs and determine resources needed.
• Transport tools and crew to sites using County vehicles.
• Perform maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Perform weed, brush, and abatement tasks with hand/power tools.
• Communicate with supervisors, owners, vendors; document logs and reports.
