Job summary

Challenge Unlimited Inc is seeking a Full-time Crew Lead Janitor for the night shift at Scott Air Force Base to maintain a clean and safe facility.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 1+ year janitorial experience, and the ability to work the Monday–Friday 4:00pm–12:30am shift. The position offers a competitive pay rate and federal benefits, supporting a stable, night-shift team environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of janitorial experience.
• Supervisory experience is helpful but not required.
• Driver’s license valid; IL/WI/OH/SC license or MO Class E.
• Must pass criminal background and state/federal registry checks.
• 21+ to drive company van between sites.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of deficiencies or repairs
• Make adjustments and minor repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Position Summary:

We are looking a Full-time Crew Lead Janitor for the night shift, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our facility in a clean and orderly condition.

Driving is a requirement.

• Pay Rate: $18.20per hour + Federal Benefits
• Shifts: Full-time: Monday-Friday; 4:00pm - 12:30am
• Location: Scott Airforce Base

Job Duties:

• Certifications/Licenses: Driver’s License (regular license in IL, WI, OH, SC; or Class E in MO)
• Background Checks: Must pass criminal background check. Must pass various State and Federal registry checks. Must pass DCFS Abuse and Neglect Tracking System check.
• Driving: Must pass driving history check and Company policy criteria. Must maintain valid driver’s license and be 21 or older to drive Company van to transport workers, supplies, and equipment between building assignments. Company travel using personal insured vehicles is not required.
