Job summary

Challenge Unlimited, Crane Naval Base location, is seeking a full-time Cleaning Technician to support contract requirements. You will clean, sanitize, and restock bathrooms and common areas following CIMS standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory of chemicals and supplies, reporting needs to the Crew Leader, and supporting quality assurance and smooth operations across shift hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm. Must pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Past work experience in any field.
• Driver’s License preferred but not required.
• Must pass criminal background check, and state/federal registry checks.

• Maintain quality control and address any deficiencies or customer complaints.
• Maintain and organize chemical and equipment storage areas; ensure proper labeling and safety.

Position Summary:

• Pay Rate: $17.75per hour
• Shift: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Location: Crane Naval Base

Job Duties:

• Performance Support: Assist crew in completing contract required tasks. Using CIMS (Cleaning Industry Management Standard) Standards, clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass andmirrors, stall walls, stainless steel and sweeping and mopping floors. Vacuum, sweep, mop
  floors and stairs. Empty trash and various recyclable cans and replace liners, clean receptacles,
  as necessary. Dust and clean office areas, desks and furniture that are not cluttered. Clean
  windowsills and windows. Obtain tools necessary for the job to be completed. Clean breakrooms and other areas that are applicable to the contract.
• Quality Assurance:Maintain quality control standards. Promptly correct any deficiencies and rectify any customercomplaints.
• Inventory Assistance:Maintain and organize chemical and equipment storage areas in a clean, organized, and safemanner. Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals. Inform the Crew Leader of any needswhich cannot be satisfied with current equipment and supplies and/or as additional supplies areneeded. Maintain equipment by performing preventative and minor maintenance. Responsible
  for assuring proper use of company resources including vehicles and cleaning equipment.
• Special Projects:May be required to perform grounds maintenance/snow removal and cleaning of snow removalequipment if applicable to the contract. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables,
  chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings as
  requested. Steam clean or shampoo carpets, assist with deep or spot cleaning of floors, etc. as needed.
• Employee Relations:Perform work according to the contract’s statement of work, company policies, and procedures with a special focus on safety, quality, and customer service. Follow schedules and/or task
  assignments as directed. Help communicate job expectations to new hires or others in need of
  assistance. Assist with training and helping co-workers. Report issues and needs to Project
  Manager. Implement feedback for improvement. Assist with building an effective companyculture that embodies our Company values to achieve optimum performance levels and achievegoals and objectives.

Position Qualifications:

• Experience:Past work experience in any field
• Certifications & Licenses:Driver’s License preferred but not required (regular in IL, WI, OH, SC, Class E in MO)
• Background Checks:
  • Must pass criminal background check.
    Must pass various State and Federal registry checks.
    Must pass DCFS Abuse and Neglect Tracking System check
