Job summary

Tri-State Drilling is seeking a skilled Driller to operate drilling and foundation installation equipment and lead field crews on complex geotechnical projects across the United States. The role requires safety leadership, coordination with project teams, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

The Driller reports to a General Foreman or Superintendent and works on projects including helical piles, drilled shafts, and other specialty foundations.

Qualifications

• Established Driller experience, 3+ years preferred.
• Experience with helical piles, drilled shafts, micropiles, rock drilling, driven piles or similar.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and DOT screenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following procedures.
• Understand the bid and the contract.
• Coordinate all work according to the schedule.
• Communicate with Operations Leadership and Project Manager.
• Ensure timely coordination of material deliveries and locates.
• Assist the team with duties to support the project.
