RRC Power and Energy seeks a Crew Chief to support field crews and project teams on energy projects nationwide with remote work options. The role demands minimal supervision and strong field execution.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a party/crew chief in oil and gas, data collection expertise, and experience with Trimble instruments and Civil 3D. We offer a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Party/Crew Chief in oil and gas.
• Experience in data collection and field computations.
• Background in construction staking including building staking, parking staking, utilities staking, and boundary search.
• Experience with Trimble S6/S5 series robotics and Trimble R8/R10 units.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact between field crews and office-based project personnel
• Interpret and execute work based on project scopes, maps, and documentation
• Navigate to projects including driving long distances in a safe manner
• Work in inclement weather, when necessary
• Responsible for all equipment assigned
• Confirm the job is correct when you leave the field
• Be respectful to all clients
• Utilize Microsoft Office including Microsoft Teams
• Perform accurate fieldwork and ensure the success of projects

Job Details: Job Location: Remote - US - US , RI 53921, Position Type: Full Time, RRC is seeking a talented Crew Chief to help us build the future of U.S. energy production from our Austin/Round Rock Texas office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• 2 + Years Experience as Party/Crew Chief in Oil and Gas including operating TSC3 and TSC7
• Experience in data collection and field computations
• Background in Construction layout including building staking, parking staking, utilities staking, and Boundary search.
• Experience with Trimble S6/S5 series robotics.
• Experience with Trimble R8 and R10 units, level loops, and establishing benchmarks
• Ability to run OPUS Solution
• Calculations on Civil 3D program
• Ability to lead survey crews independently on job sites
