Job summary

RRC seeks a Survey Crew Chief in San Antonio, TX to lead field crews and manage survey operations from the field to the office. You will work on construction staking, boundary searches, and utility layouts with Trimble equipment and Civil 3D data workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience as Party/Crew Chief including operating TSC3 and TSC7.
• Background in Construction layout including building staking, parking staking, utilities staking, and Boundary search.
• Experience with Trimble R8 and R10 units, level loops, and establishing benchmarks.
• Ability to run OPUS Solution.
• Calculations on Civil 3D program.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey crew in field operations and ensure project accuracy.
• Drive long distances as needed to job sites across Texas.
• Work in inclement weather when required.
• Responsible for all equipment assigned to you and its proper maintenance.
• Confirm the job is correct when leaving the field and submit accurate field data.
• Store files properly and communicate results via email or project systems.
