Creditors' Rights Paralegal - Greenville or Raleigh, NC

Join a dynamic, growing full-service law firm known for its collaborative culture and commitment to client service! We're seeking an experienced Creditors' Rights Paralegal to become a vital part of our team in either our Greenville or Raleigh, North Carolina office. This role offers the opportunity to tackle complex matters, contribute directly to legal strategy, and potentially work a hybrid schedule after initial training.

What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive, hands-on support for all aspects of commercial and consumer bankruptcy and collections.
• Work with foreclosures and other related Creditors' Rights matters.
• Draft, e-file, and serve a wide range of legal documents, ensuring compliance with state and federal court rules and statutory deadlines.
• Manage detailed caseflow and docketing, proactively monitoring deadlines.
• Confer regularly with Clerks, Court Administrators, and Sheriff's Departments.
• Oversee electronic filing systems, service, and schedules.
• Maintain meticulous electronic and physical case files, ensuring all required actions are completed.
  
  

Who We're Looking For:

• At least 2-3 years of experience exclusively in commercial and consumer bankruptcy, collections, and foreclosures.
• An active North Carolina Notary Public commission is required (or ability to obtain one promptly).
• Associate's Degree in Paralegal Technology preferred, but equivalent work experience will be strongly considered.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Salary Range:
