A law firm seeks an experienced Foreclosure Attorney to oversee and manage all aspects of non-judicial foreclosure processes, litigation, and title clearance matters. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, knowledge of creditors' rights, and the ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently. Oversee the full lifecycle of the non-judicial foreclosure process, from case referral to property sale.
Handle routine and complex litigation related to foreclosure and replevin matters.
Manage pre-litigation cases, ensuring title clearance and compliance with applicable laws.
Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
Provide strategic legal analysis and counsel to clients on foreclosure-related issues.
Represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings.
Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal foreclosure regulations.
Perform additional legal tasks as required to support the firm’s foreclosure practice.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
An active member of the Mississippi State Bar, maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements.
Experience with Mississippi creditors’ rights, real estate law, or mortgage servicing preferred.
Familiarity with foreclosure and replevin processes and legal requirements.
Understanding of rules of evidence and procedures for introducing evidence in court.
Knowledge of consumer protection statutes such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is preferred.
Ability to handle a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
