Smith Debnam (www.smithdebnamlaw.com) is seeking candidates for a contract litigation associate position to assist in the representation of Creditors' Rights in consumer matters. This position is expected to be of four (4) to six (6) months in duration.
The following are prerequisites for this position:
Experience in North Carolina District Court litigation in a private practice
Minimum qualification of NC license in good standing; SC license a plus
Work out of Raleigh NC office
Handle substantial case volume with minimal supervision
Handle hearings, trials and other matters in various jurisdictions throughout NC (and SC if licensed)
Manage staff effectively in support of practice
Assist in negotiating effective settlements and case resolution on behalf of clients
Ideal candidate’s experience will include:
Two or more years’ experience representing creditors in state court
Dual licensed in both NC and SC
