Smith Debnam (www.smithdebnamlaw.com) is seeking candidates for a contract litigation associate position to assist in representing Creditors' Rights in consumer matters.

Prerequisites:

1. Experience in North Carolina District Court litigation in a private practice
2. Minimum qualification of NC license in good standing; SC license a plus
3. Work out of Raleigh, NC office
4. Handle substantial case volume with minimal supervision
5. Handle hearings, trials, and other matters in various jurisdictions throughout NC (and SC if licensed)
6. Manage staff effectively in support of practice
7. Assist in negotiating effective settlements and case resolutions on behalf of clients

Ideal candidate’s experience:

1. Two or more years’ experience representing creditors in state court
2. Dual licensed in both NC and SC
