Job summary

Software Placement Group in Annapolis is seeking a Maryland-licensed attorney to manage active litigation matters within a creditors' rights and litigation-focused practice. This on-site role emphasizes driving case resolutions and supporting clients through the litigation process.

You will handle negotiations, draft and file pleadings, appear at hearings and trials across the region, and coordinate with clients and opposing counsel to move cases toward timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Maryland.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation, courtroom procedures, and case management.
• Ability to evaluate legal matters, develop resolution strategies, and negotiate settlements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other technology in a professional legal environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle negotiations and work toward resolution of active litigation matters.
• Draft, review, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other case-related documents.
• Appear at hearings and trials throughout your designated region; mileage and approved travel expenses are reimbursed.
• Coordinate with internal team members, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases toward timely and appropriate resolutions.
