True North Consultants, Inc. in Annapolis, MD, is seeking a licensed attorney to handle negotiations, draft pleadings, and advance active litigation matters within the designated region.

You will appear at hearings, coordinate with clients and opposing counsel, and move cases toward timely resolutions. The role offers salary plus additional compensation with travel reimbursements for approved mileage.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Maryland.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation, courtroom procedures, and case management.
• Ability to evaluate legal matters, develop resolution strategies, and negotiate effective settlements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other technology in a professional legal environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a high level of client service.
• Previous experience in collections, creditors’ rights, debt recovery, or litigation is preferred, but industry-specific training is available for the right candidate.
