You will collaborate with clients and opposing counsel, manage deadlines, and leverage MS Office tools. No billable hour requirement; salary plus additional compensation for negotiated settlements.

Qualifikationen

• Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Maryland.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation, courtroom procedures, and case management.
• Ability to evaluate legal matters, develop resolution strategies, and negotiate settlements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities.
• Comfortable using technology in a professional legal environment.
• Independent work with confidentiality and high client service.

Aufgaben

• Handle negotiations and work toward resolution of active litigation matters.
• Draft, review, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other case-related documents.
• Appear at hearings and trials across the designated region; travel expenses reimbursed.
• Coordinate with internal team members, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases toward timely resolutions.
