Qualifications

• Two-Year College Degree or equivalent, or completion of specialized in-house training.
• Minimum 3-5 years of similar or related experience.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Solid analytical abilities.
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of teller, member service, loan policies, understanding of office operations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Open and ready the office each business day.
• Assist Member Service Specialists to resolve adjustments and authorize adjustments.
• Ensure all equipment is in proper working order.
• Promote cross-sales of the credit union's products and services.
• Supervise and coach staff to provide timely, accurate member service.
• Schedule and counsel staff, establish performance expectations, and manage disciplinary actions.
• Conduct employee evaluations within the office department.
• Explain savings and checking programs, open new accounts, IRAs, and approve loans within lending authority.
• Perform Assistant Office Manager duties in their absence.
• Resolve member inquiries and explain policies and procedures.
• Maintain vendor relationships and stay current on regulatory changes; adhere to BSA requirements.
