Job summary

Bank of America in Dallas seeks an Associate to support credit underwriting and monitoring for new and existing clients within GCIB Credit, covering Technology, Media, Telecom and Gaming sectors.

You will analyze client financials, write credit memos, and monitor covenant compliance while coaching junior Analysts and leveraging cross-functional teams to drive timely approvals and sound risk decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ year experience Corporate Banking Credit experience to include financial analysis experience.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with credit underwriting and monitoring in a bank environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes client's financial performance by comparing it to past performance, projections, and industry standards.
• Reviews financial statements, assesses compliance with covenants, and renews risk ratings.
• Assists in underwriting, negotiation, and closing of new or existing transactions while following policies.
• Evaluates transaction and relationship risk-adjusted profitability to allocate capital.
• Builds projection models for the client based on historical performance and industry data.
• Trains, coaches, and mentors Credit Analysts and Summer Interns.
