Job summary

Bank of America in Dallas seeks an Associate to support credit underwriting and monitoring for new and existing clients, partnering with a credit team to deliver timely, accurate analyses and memos for approvals or renewals.

You will build projection models, review financial statements and covenants, and mentor junior analysts, contributing to risk management across Technology, Media & Telecom and Gaming portfolios.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate banking credit experience including financial analysis
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Bachelor's Degree
• Familiarity with financial models (3-statement DCF) and equity research analysis
• Experience with portfolio analysis, ideally in Technology, Media, Telecom and/or Gaming sectors

Responsibilities

• Analyzes client's financial performance by comparing it to past performance, projections, and industry standards
• Reviews financial statements, assesses covenant compliance, and renews risk ratings, recommending changes as warranted
• Assists in underwriting, negotiation, and closing of new or existing transactions while adhering to policies and procedures
• Evaluates transaction and relationship risk‑adjusted profitability to facilitate capital allocation
• Builds projection models for the client based on historical performance, industry forecasts, and due diligence findings
• Trains, coaches, and mentors Credit Analysts and Summer Interns
