Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned Business Risk Professional to partner with Line of Business groups and 2LoD partners to build and oversee effective risk-management frameworks.

You will lead policy development, drive credit initiatives, and monitor outcomes across policy changes in Business Banking. You will collaborate with Credit Delivery and Governance teams, analyze data to inform decisions, and communicate complex risks to senior stakeholders while working in a hybrid schedule with in-office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of applicable experience.
• Applicable professional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing credit policy support to the Business Banking organization, partnering with credit policy owners in 2LoD to ensure business practices and policies are implemented in accordance with sound credit principles
• Drive strategic credit initiatives, informing credit recommendations that balance sound growth with prudent risk management and governance
• Monitor the impact of implemented credit initiatives, making subsequent recommendations to optimize results as necessary
• Represent the Business Banking Credit and Product teams in cross-functional working groups where policy impact is identified
• Monitor changes to general and specialty lending policies for Business Banking impact and engage appropriate stakeholders as needed
• Partner closely with Credit Delivery teams, Governance teams, and other stakeholders to determine Business Banking impact, feedback, and actions from proposed policy changes
