Job summary

B-Paid LLC in the United States is seeking a seasoned Credit Risk Lead to develop risk policies and oversee credit analysis across lending programs. You will build and manage risk frameworks, assess borrower creditworthiness, and report findings to senior leadership.

The role requires hands-on experience with credit risk modeling, stress testing, and regulatory compliance, along with leadership to mentor junior staff and collaborate across teams to support growth with controlled risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in credit risk management, lending, or related analysis roles.
• Strong understanding of credit risk modeling, financial statement analysis, and risk rating systems.
• Familiarity with Basel III, Dodd-Frank, IFRS 9, CECL.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, SAS, Python, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Develop Risk Assessment Framework.
• Assess creditworthiness through financial statement analysis, credit scoring, and industry research.
• Monitor and report on portfolio performance, delinquency, concentration risk, and early warning indicators.
• Set and manage credit limits, terms, and approval authorities.
• Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess portfolio resilience.
• Collaborate with sales, payments, and finance to balance growth with risk.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare risk reports for management and board.
• Review and approve credit applications above thresholds.
• Manage relationships with credit rating agencies, auditors, and regulators.
• Lead or support remediation of past-due accounts and distressed credits.
• Mentor credit analysts and stay current on macro trends.
