Best Egg, a Barclays-backed fintech, seeks a Credit Strategy Manager I to lead underwriting, pricing, and yield management strategies for consumer lending products. You will translate risk appetite into decisioning logic, segmentation, and offers while partnering across Finance, Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Operations.

Ideal candidates bring strong quantitative skills, 4–6 years in credit strategy, and fluency in SQL/Python/SAS/R to drive risk-adjusted yield improvements within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field, finance, economics, business, or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years in credit risk, pricing strategy, underwriting, analytics, yield management, or credit strategy.
• Experience analyzing approval, conversion, yield, margin, loss, profitability, or customer response metrics.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, R, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of credit risk, risk-based pricing, expected loss, and lending economics.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and pricing changes are implemented accurately and on schedule.
• Performance insights are timely, actionable, and tied to yield, margin, credit, and profitability outcomes.
• Risk-adjusted results improve within assigned scope.
• Champion/challenger tests produce measurable learnings about price sensitivity, conversion, and profitability.
• Emerging portfolio risks or yield pressures are identified early with clear recommendations.
