Job summary

Truist in Atlanta seeks an experienced senior Credit Risk professional to lead risk program management, governance and reporting for the credit portfolio. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver executive-ready analyses and materials informing risk appetite and strategy.

The role emphasizes advanced Excel analytics, risk inventories and KPIs, collaboration with audit and risk functions, and mentoring teammates. Ten+ years in bank credit risk and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent education and related training.
Ten+ years of bank credit risk related experience.
Excellent skills in credit risk identification, measurement, governance and reporting activities.
Meaningful Supervisory experience.
Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong quantitative, governance and analytical abilities, including advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Manage credit risk program activities including risk identification, measurement, governance and reporting.
Prepare materials for risk governance, regulatory examinations and committees.
Support portfolio strategy modernization and data-driven insights using Excel.
Coordinate with Audit Directors and Risk Officers on risk program matters.
Coach and develop teammates.
