JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an Associate for Credit Risk Controller Data Management. The role partners with Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Technology to deliver accurate credit risk data and narratives for the firm's wholesale business.

You’ll drive data governance, quality controls, and end-to-end data lineage while supporting automation and scalable reporting. The team emphasizes ownership, risk awareness, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related discipline.
• 3+ years in data management, analytics, governance, risk, or finance in a regulated environment.
• Translate business questions into data requirements and document outcomes for audit.

Responsibilities

• Own data/tech workstreams supporting Credit Risk Controller priorities, including requirements, testing, and change management.
• Translate business needs into data requirements with Risk, Finance, Product, and Tech; support UAT to meet control needs.
• Identify critical data elements and end-to-end data lineage across sourcing, transformation, and consumption.
• Maintain data dictionaries, lineage artefacts, and control documentation per internal standards and policies.
• Support data quality monitoring, define checks, and coordinate with data owners to resolve issues.
• Streamline data sourcing/reporting workflows; identify duplication and automation opportunities.
• Build and maintain reporting/analytics using firm-approved tools with documentation and readiness.
• Contribute to automation using system feeds and LLM-enabled capabilities where appropriate.
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders for decision-making.
• Demonstrate sound judgement and ownership across teams and levels.
