Job summary

CarMax is seeking an Analyst II, Credit Risk, to shape credit strategies for CarMax Auto Finance. You will analyze data, build models, and test credit product approaches to improve originations, bookings, and sales trends, while maintaining compliance and risk controls.

You will design and maintain dashboards, present insights to senior leadership, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes and customer experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0–3 years of experience in an analytical role.
• Ability to access, manipulate, and interpret data using analytical tools.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and general software applications.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, test, and implement credit product strategies using statistical and database tools to improve performance.
• Identify opportunities to optimize credit and originations processes, enhancing value for both the business and customers.
• Design and maintain reporting dashboards for metrics such as originations, bookings, and sales trends.
• Deliver insights and updates to senior leadership, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and operational risk controls, maintaining CarMax’s commitment to integrity.
