Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in collections, banking, consumer lending, or financial services preferred.
• e-OSCAR experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with credit reporting and consumer disputes preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and follow-up responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with computers and financial software.
• Knowledge of collection practices and applicable regulations preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor delinquent consumer loans and past-due accounts.
• Communicate with account holders regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
• Negotiate payment solutions and follow up on missed payments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of collection activity, account updates, and communications.
• Assist with consumer credit reporting, disputes, and account research.
• Utilize e-OSCAR for credit reporting disputes and related processes.
• Review account histories, loan documents, and transaction activity to resolve discrepancies.
• Escalate complex accounts and disputes to appropriate leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow applicable financial regulations and internal procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the collections and credit recovery team.
