Job summary

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a global manufacturing organization to identify a Credit Manager. This 100% onsite role in Grand Prairie, TX will own the credit function, including customer credit analysis, credit limits, receivables monitoring, collections activities, and credit risk management.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in commercial credit analysis, is adept at evaluating creditworthiness, and can thrive in a high-volume environment. Bilingual Spanish is highly desired.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in commercial credit analysis, collections, and AR management.
• Strong experience evaluating customer creditworthiness and establishing/monitoring credit limits.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar high-volume B2B environment.
• Experience with GL reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the credit function and lifecycle from intake to collections.
• Perform customer credit analysis and set credit limits.
• Monitor receivables, manage collections, and mitigate credit exposure.
• Collaborate with ERP systems and finance teams to maintain accuracy.

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a global manufacturing organization to identify a Credit Manager. This newly created contract-to-hire position is 100% onsite and will own the credit function, including customer credit analysis, credit limits, receivables monitoring, collections activities, and credit risk management.

This position is ideal for an experienced credit professional who thrives in a high-volume, transactional environment and can independently manage the credit lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, understands the connection between credit risk and cash flow, and is comfortable working within a more manual accounting environment.

Required:

• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in commercial credit analysis, collections, and accounts receivable management
• Strong experience evaluating customer creditworthiness, establishing and monitoring credit limits, analyzing financial information, and mitigating credit exposure
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or similar high-volume B2B environment
• Experience with GL reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and financial/account analysis
• Strong ERP and advanced Excel experience with the ability to manage a high-volume, transactional workload
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly desired

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, Symix, or comparable enterprise ERP systems
• Experience working with credit insurance providers and managing insured credit exposure
• Knowledge of applicable credit and collections regulations and best practices
