Job summary

BNY Mellon invites high-potential students to join the 2027 Summer Internship Program in Credit, a 10-week, immersive experience designed to accelerate development, build professional networks, and expose participants to a leading global financial services institution.

Interns will engage in hands-on projects across credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring, with structured mentorship and cross-functional exposure to platforms and teams that drive the firm's risk-aware lending

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergrad program, preferably with business or technology focus
• Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future)

Responsibilities

• Analyze company financials, industry trends, and key risk indicators to support borrower and transaction assessments.
• Assist with credit materials, portfolio reviews, and reporting that help teams evaluate opportunities and monitor exposures.
• Learn how deal structures are built and how lending decisions balance growth, risk, and client needs.
• Partner with experienced professionals to understand how disciplined underwriting supports resilient client relationships.
