Job summary

BNY Mellon’s 2027 Analyst Program – Credit in New York, NY, offers hands-on exposure to credit analysis, underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and deal-structuring within a fast-paced environment.

You will analyze financial statements, assess risks, and support lending decisions while partnering with experienced professionals to develop core skills for a career in finance and risk management at BNY Mellon.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 (U.S.).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

Responsibilities

• Analyze company financials, industry trends, and key risk indicators to support borrower and transaction assessments.
• Assist with credit materials, portfolio reviews, and reporting that help teams evaluate opportunities and monitor exposures.
• Learn how deal structures are built and how lending decisions balance growth, risk, and client needs.
• Partner with experienced professionals to understand how disciplined underwriting supports resilient client relationships.
