Job summary

Republic Finance seeks a technically strong, detail-oriented professional to join the Fraud and Decision Platforms team in Plano, TX on a hybrid schedule. You will translate business policy into decisioning logic, deploy ML models, and collaborate with data vendors and bureaus to ensure accurate, auditable outcomes.

You will implement end-to-end decisioning across loan origination, servicing and data platforms, with thorough testing and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative or technical field; advanced degree attractive.
• 1-3 years in programming, databases, and configuring decision platforms such as GDS Link, Provenir, FICO, or similar engines.
• SQL, Snowflake, and relational databases knowledge (intermediate to advanced).
• Python programming (intermediate to advanced).
• Excel and BI skills; Power BI preferred.
• REST APIs and JSON/XML, testing with Postman or similar tools.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and test-first production approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement credit, underwriting and fraud policies in decision platforms with rulesets and scorecards.
• Deploy ML models into decision platforms and validate results against model owners' expectations.
• Coordinate with data vendors and bureaus to build connectors and data mappings.
• Document decision logic, assumptions and edge cases for review and auditability.
• Understand Republic Finance's loan origination, servicing and data platforms end-to-end.
• Maintain governance: version control, release documentation, rollback procedures.
• Perform thorough testing (unit, regression, integration, UAT) before releases.
• Monitor production metrics and ensure business success criteria are met.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive controls.
