Job summary

Circle Logistics Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Credit & Collections Representative to manage a portfolio of customer accounts through the credit lifecycle. You will evaluate creditworthiness, drive timely collections, and collaborate with sales and operations to resolve disputes while maintaining business continuity.

You will analyze credit reports, set appropriate limits and terms, and escalate severely delinquent accounts as needed, ensuring accurate records and healthy cash flow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in credit management, collections, or AR in freight/3PL.
• Knowledge of order-to-cash processes and credit risk assessment.
• Professional communication to conduct firm, professional conversations.
• Proficient in Excel with data sorting, filtering, and lookups.
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-directed work approach with accountability and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor customer portfolios, track aging schedules and prioritize collection outreach.
• Execute outbound collection activities to secure payment on overdue invoices.
• Conduct credit evaluations for new customers using scoring, reports, and references.
• Assess credit limits and terms using internal scoring criteria.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with sales, operations, and customers.
• Process cash applications and resolve unapplied/payments; maintain accuracy.
• Implement credit holds and escalate delinquent accounts per policy.
• Document collection activities and communications with thorough records.
• Generate aging reports and identify emerging credit risks.
