Job summary

National Trench Safety, LLC is seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist for its Corporate/Houston office. The role focuses on managing the collection of outstanding invoices and ensuring timely client payments, including AR aging monitoring and collection communications.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of AR/collections experience, strong data analysis, and a high level of confidentiality; experience with INFOR is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position in Houston.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in accounts payable environment, preferably in construction.
• Experience with invoices and client communications.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle, high-volume collection communications.
• Assist AR staff workload management and task reassignment.
• Submit invoices and statements to clients.
• Monitor aged accounts and draft past-due notices/collections.
• Create reports on client account statuses as requested.
• Investigate discrepancies by obtaining information from sales, P/O's, and clients.
• Adjust receivables due to billing errors with Accounting approval.
• Assist in monthly revenue reconciliations.
• Support district and branches with inquiries.
• Review delinquent accounts for legal/collection review.
• Process customer payments through the portal.
• Resolve customer disputes.
• Gather job information to process notices to owners.
• Support other projects or responsibilities as assigned.
