Are you an experienced AR/Billing Manager with experience in the healthcare industry?

Our client are a leading health care provider offering services across New York and New Jersey. Due to expansion, the CFO is looking to hire a Billing Manager on a permanent basis. The role will be site based and will oversee a team of 3.

The culture within the business is people focused, inclusive with a diverse workforce. The leadership display clear passion for the services that they provide which has a direct correlation on the past 5 years financial performance. With an open plan and collaborative working environment there is a strong emphasis on team work within the business.

The key responsibilities of the Billing Manager will be to oversee a team of three (3) whilst also maintaining a hands on approach with collections and billing. The team consists of a two Billing Specialists and a Collections Specialist. The Billing Manager will also be responsible for overseeing the relationship with insurance companies to manage disputes, investigations and denials.

To be considered for the position, applicants must:

• Have a strong background of working within the healthcare industry
• Have proven experience of team management
• Be able to demonstrate experience of managing collections and billing
• Have used HHA Exchange, Sandata or similar system
• Have experience of liaising with healthcare insurance partners
• Be willing to work onsite in Brooklyn on a daily basis
• Be a strong communicator and enjoy working in a diverse team environment

On offer is a base salary of between. $130,000 and $140,000 per annum plus benefits.
