Job summary

Continental is seeking a credit internship in Fort Mill, SC to support processing of credit applications, maintenance of credit files, and dealer communications. You will assist in investigations using agency reports and contribute to annual reviews under supervision.

The role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to a global industry leader. Candidates must be enrolled in a US degree program and able to commit 12 months with 20+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-accredited degree program for at least 12 months and able to commit 12 months toward the internship.
• Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri).
• Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.).
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receipt, processing, tracking, and expediting incoming credit applications and account modification requests.
• Create, update, and maintain credit files.
• Communicate with dealers to obtain delivery receipts.
• Support credit investigation efforts through reports from agencies (Dun & Bradstreet, NACM, Secretaries of State, customer calls).
• Collaborate with PLT Sr. Credit Analyst and Credit Manager to manage current standings.
• Assist Credit team in preparing in-depth annual credit reviews for PLT portfolio.
• Tackle projects serving short-term needs and long-range goals.
