Continental, a leading tire manufacturer, invites you to join its US Treasury internship in Fort Mill, SC. You will support cash forecasting, payments, and KPI reporting while learning in a global automotive leader.

The program seeks students pursuing Accounting or Finance, available 20–30 hours weekly, with a 2.8 GPA, and willingness to commute 3 days a week. Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint is valued, with mentorship and real project exposure.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing Accounting, Finance or similar.
• Enrolled for at least 12 more months, able to commit 12 months.
• Able to work 20–30 hours per week during business hours (Mon–Fri).
• Must have GPA 2.8 or higher.
• Willing to commute to Fort Mill, SC campus 3 days per week.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Cash forecasting analytics.
• Treasury inbox and responses back to banking partner and internal inquiries.
• Process and release manual payments as needed.
• Support merchant card program and KPI reporting.
• Treasury process automation using Power BI.
• Assist with internal and external audit inquiries.
• Support accounts reconciliation between Bank and Book balances.
• Perform treasury administrative tasks as needed.
• Distribute month end statements electronically.
• Support projects as needed.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Cash forecasting analytics
• Treasury inbox and responses back to banking partner and internal business partner inquires
• Process and release manual payments as needed
• Provide support with merchant card program and reporting on related KPI’s
• Treasury process automation using Power BI
• Assist with requests and inquiries from the internal and external audit team
• Support accounting department with account reconciliation activities between Bank and Book balances
• Perform treasury administrative tasks as needed
• Distribute month end statements electronically
• Support projects as needed

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a degree focusing in Accounting, Finance or similar
• Enrolled in school for at least another 12 months and can dedicate 12 months toward this internship
• Able to work a minimum of 20 hours (preferred 30+) per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)
• Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higher
• Willing to commute to Fort Mill, SC campus 3 days per week (Mon-Fri)
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong multi-tasking skills
