Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial credit experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of PC applications (Excel, Word, Access) and credit policy understanding.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite credit requests using applications, spreads, financial statements, tax returns, credit bureaus, and client meetings.
• Determine compliance with Bank policy and note exceptions.
• Discuss deal structure, cash flow, collateral, and customer character with Relationship Managers.
• Accompany RM on customer calls and interact with customers in person and by phone as directed.
• Interact with CPAs, CFOs, and other professionals to support underwriting memos.
• Present written analysis and observe lender presentations.
• Conduct market surveys through brokers and online research.
• Manage existing portfolio with annual reviews and update tracking databases.
• Identify potential problem loans and deficiencies and assist customers with loan questions.
