Zions Bancorporation is seeking candidates for the Salt Lake City Associate Credit Analyst – Banker Development Program. This entry‑level role is designed to develop future leaders in banking through rigorous credit analysis training and structured rotations across lending groups.

Two phased program including training and rotational assignments prepare participants for underwriting/officer roles within the bank. Strong academics and extracurricular leadership are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0; unofficial transcript required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Detail oriented, organized, analytical, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership and community involvement are valued.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in credit underwriting training according to bank policy.
• Engage in classroom and on-the-job training to develop credit and risk analysis skills.
• Rotate through lending groups during the rotational phase to gain broad exposure.
• Work with analysts and mentors to build analytical and relationship management capabilities.
• Explore opportunities for promotion into officer roles within lending or credit divisions.
