Job summary

BankUnited is seeking a Credit Analyst to prepare financial analyses, support renewal and annual reviews of Corporate and CRE loans, and ensure credit quality by evaluating risk factors and repayment sources. You will review loan documents for borrower compliance and contribute to loan structuring discussions.

The role involves working with Corporate and CRE teams, maintaining loan pipelines, and preparing analysis reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field or acceptable alternative.
• Candidates earning their bachelor's degree within 18 months will be considered.
• 0–2 years of credit analyst experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work with lending units to determine ongoing loan priorities.
• Maintain an up-to-date loan pipeline and status.
• Prepare credit analysis reports and propose structuring or collateral changes.
• Identify key risk factors and assess mitigation effectiveness.
• Prepare financial statement spreads for officers evaluating proposals.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley related matters.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as directed by senior staff.
• Assist in training Credit Products Analysts and may lead projects.
